Aaron Draplin for AIGA
Poster + Collateral Design
AIGA Gainesville hosted designer Aaron Draplin on his book tour, and I was tapped for the poster design. Of course, there had to be orange.
I built the poster concept around Draplin’s ubiquitous orange brand, creating a playful narrative about Florida’s citrus industry being DDC’s “secret source” for the color.
Draplin has citrus on his brain (literally). A lobotomy and a fruit label reveal the true source of his creativity. A playful treatment for one of our best playful designers.
